Every year droves of kayakers and adventure seekers flock to the infamous Tallulah Gorge for class V paddling. If you have the skills and huevos, the gorge is one of the biggest thrills in the South East. The Chattooga river is also a stone’s throw away from the festival grounds and offers some of the most classic whitewater of the region. It has everything to offer from class I to class V if it has been raining. The Chattooga river is also a great option with commercial outfitters.

Chattulah is a stay & play festival. Come for the paddling and music, and stay for the camping, hiking, disc golf and Chattulah Games. Set with a back drop of world class white water, miles of hiking and biking trails, some of the best fishing in the south, right at the banks of the beautiful Chattooga River. Car camping available with ticket purchase.

Chattulah has some of the best jim jammin, whiskey drinking, foot stomping, hand clapping lineup of handmade music anywhere in the southeast. The bands this year will include Sol Driven Train, Sally & George and The Family Recipe.

Bigger, better and saucier than ever. We are going to be throwing down Long Creek style in order to celebrate the beautiful sister rivers of the Chattooga and the Tallulah. We’ve got bands ready to jam and beer ready for drinkin’ all in the name of love for these wonderful rivers. We’re gonna have a video contest with a kayak as the first place prize, the Chattulah Games, a disk golf course, yoga, vendors, hikin’, bikin’, fishin’, day drinkin’, boot scootin’, (you name it we got it) and one hell of a party! The festival is going down April 5-7, 2019. Festivities begin Friday afternoon and they’ll keep going until the sun rises on Sunday morning.
